What is the denture made of?
Our Screw In Denture are made out of solid zirconia. Making it out of one solid piece makes it much stronger and less likely to fracture.

What makes a Screw In Denture different than an All-on-4?

A Screw In Denture is different from a traditional All-on-4 in many ways. One, it’s made out of solid zirconia, not denture acrylic that is prone to fracture and looks lifeless. Two, we don’t limit ourselves to just 4 implants. We may vary from 4 to 8 implants depending on the case, with no difference in price. Three, we don’t use a tiBase. With a revolutionary new product called the Powerball Screw, we can skip the tiBase. This also allows us to make our zirconia thinner (but maintain strength), which can drastically reduce the amount of bone reduction needed in some cases.

What restrictions in eating do I have throughout the process?

Yes, during the healing period (8-12 weeks) you must be on a soft diet. This is very important for the health of the implants. After that period there are NO limitations on food!

Can the implants fail?

Absolutely, any procedure with the human body can fail, although this procedure has a very high success rate. We need a minimum of 4 implants to integrate in order to complete the Screw In Denture, which is one reason why we typically place 6 or more. The better question is, what is typically the cause for failure? The main causes for failure are: 1- Smoking, quit it. 2- Uncontrolled diabetes 3- Failure to adhere to a soft foods diet during healing.
